Dr. Faustina Maame Akua Frempong-Ainguah holds a PhD in Social Statistics from Southampton University and MPhil degree in Population Studies from the University of Ghana. She has extensive experience in statistical analysis, census and survey research, maternal and reproductive health, and development research. She is currently on leave from RIPS working with Ghana Statistical Services as Deputy Government Statistician.
Dr. Frempong-Ainguah’s research primarily focuses on maternal and child health, family planning, and health systems strengthening. Her work contributes significantly to policy development in Ghana and across Africa, where she collaborates with governments, international organizations, and local communities to inform and influence health interventions.
Throughout her career, Dr. Frempong-Ainguah has authored numerous publications in reputable journals, addressing key issues in population health and providing data-driven insights that advance understanding in her field. Her passion for research and commitment to improving health outcomes have earned her recognition both within academic circles and among health policymakers.
