Dr. D. Yaw Atiglo is a Research Fellow at the Regional Institute for Population Studies (RIPS) at the University of Ghana, located in office RIPS 21. An expert in Population Dynamics and Sustainable Development, Dr. Atiglo’s work focuses on Population and Environment, Population Health, and Migration and Sustainable Development. His research encompasses projects like Mangroves as Nature-Based Solutions Against Coastal Hazards in the Eastern Coast of Ghana (MANCOGA), which aims to utilize natural resources to mitigate environmental challenges along Ghana’s coast.

Dr. Atiglo actively contributes to academia, teaching both Master's and PhD students in subjects such as Basic Population Analysis, Methods of Social Research, Mathematical Demography, and Advanced Population Projections.
